There are a great many reasons to favor vinyl over paint for Chrome Deletions. There is a great deal of prep that needs to go into making paint stick to chrome trim. We have seen our fair share of painted chrome deletes flaking off after just a short amount of time. This was done with a carbon fiber finish, which is also much harder to do with paint.
